Pre-Season Training

Schedule as follows:


Saturdays - 31st August, 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th September - 10am

Venue -  Q-One (Queanbeyan Indoor Sports Centre) Yass Road (next to Campese Oval)

Thursday - 26th September - 5pm (Freebody Nets)

Thursday - 3rd October - 5pm (Freebody Nets)

Season Commences on 5th October

Training Schedule for Season 2019/20

Mid-week training sessions this season will commence at 5.30pm.

All players need to be there for the start of training and remain for the duration of the session.

Please contact Peter if you believe you have special circumstances that will not allow you to do this.

Season Training

Commencing on 3rd October, training is held at Freebody Park Cricket Nets each Thursday.

Thursdays - 5.30pm to 7.30pm

Training Structure

• Fitness circuit: 5mins of a circuit sprinting, push ups, squats, ladder running etc.

• Warm up: 20mins Soccer/AFL drills

• Fielding Circuit: 20mins high balls, flat catches, ground fielding etc

• Net session: 1hr (plus), constructed around what format we are playing T20 , one day, 2 day etc.

(bowling machine and throw down net will be available as well)

The structure of training is designed to stay the same all season and will need everyone on board to keep it running to make the sessions professional and quality.

Training is open to all club members as well as players from the Junior Club.

Freebody Park is located in Richard Ave Crestwood.
